Hello Kitty Projector

This Hello Kitty Projector was a free toy from Malaysia's Mcdonald's Happy Meal few months ago. I did not know whether all the Mcdonald's restaurants in worldwide gave out same free toys for happy meal but when I went to Bangkok, I saw there were different toys, which were designed from Naruto animated series had gave out as free toys. I think it will be a good news for Naruto's fans if the toys also launch at Malaysia Mcdonald's restaurants.

Bangkok & Pattaya Trip - Day 4

On 26th June 2007, our last day in Thailand had came.

Early of the morning, after we ate our breakfast at hotel, we departed from Pattaya back to Bangkok. Pattaya City really quiet in the morning.

All the shops still closed.

All the bars and pubs closed.

Bye bye Pattaya!! See you on next trip!!

On the way back to Bangkok, we went to Safari World at the countryside of Bangkok. Supposedly visit Safari World was event on second day of the trip but we did not have time on second day. So the plan had change to day 4. And luckily we still had time to go there because our flight was 5.45pm (in Bangkok time).

This was the entrance of Safari World. You would not missed it because you could noticed it from away.

When we reached there, we went straight to Adventure Island to watch action performance of cowboys. The background, the houses, the costumes of the performance were very great. I felt like I went to Hollywood watched the action movie performance, except the actor and actress spoke in Thai. Because we are late, so we did not sat in front but we could be very lucky. At ending of the action, they threw a fake bomb into a well, which near the front seat, then a big water will blew out from it. So for those sat in front of it will be wet.

After the performance, we went back to bus and took a ride to the real Safari World of the main title of the theme park. On the other side of the theme park, they had a outdoor zoo where all the animals and birds were free to move around, except for fierce animals like lions, bears and tigers. The tour guide said that "Are you look at the animal, or are the animals look at you? No one knows." All the animals were resting, so we could not see the most active part of the animal.

The tiger was enjoying the water due to the hot weather in Thailand.

The bears were eating. After finished the safari trip, one of the tourist asked tour guide why did not have elephant in the safari, the tour guide told him that all the animals in the safari were international animals, elephants were local animal, not international animal; so elephants did not included. We all laugh and laugh about the joke.

At the next door of Safari World was Marine Park, we went there to watch dolphins show. We also did not wanted to sit in front because we afraid that dolphins will splash water towards us.

The big dolphins jumped up to hit the balls.

The dolphin was very big and very cute.

After the show, it was time to go airport and said good bye to Bangkok. So, we took a photo with our tour guide - William who wearing a red and white stripe T-shirt.

Bye bye Bangkok!!! See you on next trip!!

Arrived at LCCT around 9 o'clock of Malaysia Time at night. Our trip to Bangkok and Pattaya finally came to the end.

Bangkok & Pattaya Trip - Day 3

In the morning of 25th June 2007, we supposed following our tour guide to Koh Loan Coral Island to play water sports - jet ski, parasailing, banana boat etc. But my colleagues and I did not have interest in water sports. We told our tour guide that we stayed at Pattaya City and walk around. From our hotel to beach was just walked across two main roads and walked through a small road, then we can reach the beach.

The day life and night life in Pattaya were totally different. A night before, we took a walk to survey the places around our hotel, all the small roads were full with pubs and bars, which have colourful lights around with rock music and sexy girls and foreigners around. But the night life there was no meant for us because we did not used to this kind of life. In the morning, the roads were very quiet and all the pubs and bars were closed except souvenir shop.

This was one view from Pattaya Beach. The beach was not very big and not many foreigners came out to swimming. Around the morning hour, I think all the foreigners were still on their bed because Pattaya City was a night life city.

This was one of the water sports from Koh Loan Coral Island - Parasailing.

This was the road in the morning. Very quiet and only us and other few local people were walking on the road.

This was the bar in the morning.

In afternoon after we had our lunch. We gathered with other tourists went to Nong Nooch Village to look at Thailand traditional performance and elephant show. When we reach there, we rushed to watch Thai traditional performance in the main stage. After the performance, we went to the back of the stage, there was a big space for elephant show.

Thai Kick Boxing.

Thai Traditional Dance.

Thai Drum Performance.

Before the elephant show started, they allow the tourists took picture with elephants. This was the only male Asian Elephant I saw at the show. I never look at the elephant in this close distance before, this time I actually stand in front of the elephants and took their photos. I was exciting to look at these huge animals in front of me. The elephants were very cute and tame. If the elephants at the show were African Elephants, I just want to say bye-bye and I not going to sit there and watch the show, because African Elephants were more largest than Asian Elephants and they are fiercely.

This elephant was very funny when it wanted to shoot the balloons.

This elephant was helping that man massage.

After the show, we left the cultural village and went to have our dinner. Since our group had plan for Thai Massage for 2 hours. The tour guide ask the bus sent others back to hotel and he brought us to the massage place which near our dinner restaurant.

This was the place where we had our massage. The massage was very nice and it really helped me relaxed my muscles. Even now, I still missed the massage that I had there.

After back to hotel, we went out to find some food to eat. Across a road, we saw a lady selling some fried foods at the roadside. We went there and took a look, she was selling fried insects. Since one of my colleague wanted to try out the fried insects. So we bought some and shared with each other. She fried the insects and then put in a pot mixed with some spice and sugar.

These were beetles which I did not knew the name, grasshoppers, cicadas, crickets, bee's larva. I ate the larva, it tasted like the popcorn seed which did not cook properly. My other colleagues ate grasshopper and cicada.

This was the actual night life in Pattaya City. Bars and pubs fulled with colourful lights and sexy girls.

Bangkok & Pattaya Trip - Day 2

Early in the morning on 24th June 2007, we ate breakfast in the hotel. Then we met with our tour guide and departed to Pattaya. Since we did not join the tour before we came to Bangkok but ask the travel agent arranged a tour guide and schedule for us, so we joined with other tourists who also did not joined the tour but go to same journey - Pattaya.

The first stop was visit Thailand main river - Chaopraya River. We went around the river by tourists' boat.

These were the houses built beside the river or on the river. So, the tour guide told us a joke, he said if someone told you that he has a house with a big swimming pool in front of his house, has his own jetty and speedboat. This will be what he meant.

On the river trip, we stopped at Wat Arun (Temple of the Dawn), which consists of a massive elongated prang, and is surrounded by four smaller prangs. All the prangs full with stone carvings. The Wat looked very beautiful from a distance.

When we reach one place of the river, there were two boats which selling souvenirs came to our boat to sell some souvenirs. There is other famous floating market at Bangkok - Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, but we did not went there due to our tight schedule. So, I bought the river main symbol - a girl selling fruits on a boat as a souvenir.

Chaopraya River Souvenir = 100 baht

This was a boat which they used to pull a very huge boat's containers full with cement. The tail of the boat looked like it going to sink anytime, just like in Godzilla movie when Godzilla pulled the fishing nets into the sea from two fishing boats.

After Chaopraya River, we continued our journey heading to Pattaya. After an hour journey, we stopped at Sriracha Tiger Zoo, which was famous with tiger feeding the piglets and pig mother feeding the tiger cubs along with the piglets, crocodile show, tiger show, pig racing etc. When we reached the entrance, the sky started to rain.

The tigers were resting after eating their lunch.

At the tiger show, I was very impressed with the tiger trainers because the tigers were bigger than him and her and were fierce animal. They have to know the tigers' behaviour before do the show with them. I also very scared that the tigers get angry and attack their trainer. Luckily, from the beginning to the end of the show, all the tigers were very obedient.

Later on we continue our journey to Pattaya. Too bad my camera's battery finish and I did not have backup battery. So, I did not took photos of night life at Pattaya on the first day.
