On 9th March 2008, 7 o'clock in the morning, we (11 person with two cars) departed to Pulau Langkawi. First destination that we heading to was Kuala Perlis's ferry jetty because we needed to take a ride of ferry to Pulau Langkawi. The journey took us around 5 hours. Around 12.30pm, we reached Kuala Perlis's jetty. My sister and I went to ticket counter bought ferry tickets. We bought the tickets which departed on 2pm and the ferry was Labuan Express 7. During the time we waiting for the ferry, we went to an other counter to arrange a boat to bring us out to some small islands around Langkawi.

On 3.30pm, we reached Pulau Langkawi's jetty located near Kuah (the capital of Langkawi). Fist we went out from the jetty and went to look for the van which we rent. The car rental agent left the car at the car park, we just went to took the car. Then we went straight to check-in at the apartment that we rent during our stay in Langkawi - Century Suria Services Apartment. After we left our things in the apartment, my little cousin straight changed their swimming suit and went to swimming pool. Around 5.30pm, we went out to take our dinner at McDonald's located in Billion Shopping Centre. Since the apartment allowed we cook, so after dinner, we went to buy some food supplies - instant noodle, eggs, a can of tuna, etc back to apartment.

At night, we head out to other side of Langkawi - Pantai Tengah and Pantai Cenang to look for the meeting point with the island tour guide in the next morning. At the place we stay - Kuah, even though there were many free duty shops and shopping centres but they were mainly for Langkawi local people or other Malaysian visitors. At Pantai Tengah and Pantain Cenang, the feeling was totally different because there were many hotels or resorts which mainly for foreign visitors. So, when we walked along the street at Pantai Tengah, we could saw a lot of foreigners there. We took a walk along the street, there were small shops selling beach clothes, souvenirs, spa & massege etc, then we went to the beach but the beach was too dark, we could not see properly. At 11pm, we went back to apartment to rest.
