Genting Highlands Trip

This year, our company trip was 2 days 1 night trip to Genting Highlands. There were only 7 out of 20 join the trip. So, we make it short and easy.

On Saturday 3pm, I went to Genting with my other two colleagues in one car and we would meet the others there because they went there with another car. At 4.30pm, we arrived at First World Hotel which we going to stay in. There were a lot of tourist around and I was kind of disappointed with the weather there because instead of cold weather, it was warm. After my colleague went to check-in for the rooms. We went to put our bags into the room, I was surprise with the room at Tower 1 because the room was not really big, just enough space for you to walk and put your bags. Then we went out to look for a restaurant which we going to have our dinner later.

We looking for a buffet restaurant. But in First World Hotel, we did not have the restaurant that can interest us. So, we went to other hotels to take a look. Then we saw a buffet restaurant named Coffee Terrace at Highland Hotel. The price was RM57.50 (included government and service tax) per person and it fit with our budget. So, we decided to have our dinner there, we went into the restaurant to book a table for 7 and wait for other to come to join us. The foods in the restaurant not that much if compare to other buffer restaurants which I been to, but the taste of foods were good. I like pan-fried Salmon the most. I ate two plates of the Salmon and still have some food I did not eat because after few round, I really felt full.

After dinner, my colleagues went into casino to gamble and I did not follow. I went to wandering around because every time I went to Genting, I never have a chance to look properly. So, this is the time for me to look properly. After that, I went back to my room to take a rest.

Later on, my colleagues called that they were at Starbuck beside the entrance of First World Hotel. So, I went there to meet them. Then, sat there chit-chat for hours. After that, we went back to the room. My colleagues continued their gambling in other room, I watched television and went to bed around 3 o'clock in the morning.

I woke up around 10am. We started to pack our things to get ready for check-out at 12pm.We ate noodle in cup for breakfast, then one of my colleague said that she still has some Genting Point to redeem. So, we went into casino and order two plates of nasi lemak, one stick of nuggets, one stick of sotong balls, two plates of cake and redeemed them Genting Points.

After that, we headed back to KL. So, this was the end of our Genting Trip.
